The College of Nursing at UT Knoxville has teamed up with the University of Tennessee Medical Center to offer “HealthBeat,” a free health fair for UT students, employees, retirees and their families. The fair, formerly known as the Covenant Health Check, will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the
Wally Tyner, an energy economist at Purdue University who was honored in 2007 with an “Energy Patriot Award,” will be at UT Knoxville on Feb. 18 to discuss the global food supply. The lecture, part of the Great Decisions Program, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Great Room of the International House.
Novice and advanced grant-seekers at nonprofit and governmental agencies are invited to a grant-writing workshop March 23-27. The Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at UT Knoxville is sponsoring the workshop, which will be presented by The Grantsmanship Center.
