The University of Tennessee’s Commission for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) People is seeking nominations for the 2008 Chancellor’s LGBT Faculty/Staff Advocate Award, Student Leadership Award and Research Ally Award.
These awards recognize leadership, integrity, and outstanding contributions on the part of faculty, staff and students, as well as outstanding research, publication, and scholarship in the promotion of an inclusive, safe, and respectful climate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people at the University of Tennessee.
The awards will be given out at the Spring 2009 Chancellor’s Honors Banquet.
