The Commission for Women requests nominations for the Women of Achievement Awards and the Angie Warren Perkins Award, to be presented at the Spring 2009 Chancellor’s Honors Banquet.
The Women of Achievement awards honor women who have, through extraordinary accomplishments in either a traditional or non-traditional area, significantly improved the status of women within the University community. The Angie Warren Perkins award is named for the first Dean of Women at UT Knoxville and honors women who are outstanding in campus governance or administration.
Nomination forms, and a list of recent award winners, are available on the Commission’s Web site, http://cfw.utk.edu.
Completed nomination forms should be submitted by e-mail to Nancy Goslee at ngoslee@utk.edu. All nominations must be received by Monday, Feb. 16.
