The 1960s had Woodstock. Now the UT College of Veterinary Medicine is presenting Petstock, an animal aid benefit concert and auction. Events begin at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at Hollingsworth Auditorium on the agricultural campus.

Proceeds will benefit the Rescued Animal Assistance Fund for the college’s small and large animal departments. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Children under 3 are free.

The silent auction begins at 5:45 p.m. For a complete list of auction items, including weekend trips, a Dyson vacuum, and UT Lady Vols Guest Coaching positions, visit Many freebies, including copies of Bark Magazine, horse weight measuring tapes, curry combs, and glow in the dark bracelets, will be available.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and will feature family-friendly music about animals by singer/songwriter Allen Levi.
