Lindsey Nelson Baseball Stadium is getting a facelift in celebration of 100 years of Tennessee baseball. The first phase of renovations to the stadium is complete, and UT Knoxville area faculty and staff are invited to an employees-only sneak peek.
On Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., employees can tour the facilities and watch the Vols practice. Employees can also enter to win a ‘Flex 20 Pack’ of baseball tickets—20 tickets good anytime—and baseballs autographed by Chris Burke or Luke Hochevar.
The event is free. Cookies and lemonade will be provided.
Employees may park in lot C1 off of Todd Helton Dr., or in staff lot 23 off of Pat Head Summitt St., near the Fraternity Rock.
