KNOXVILLE — The audit committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet September 19 in Knoxville.
The meeting is set for 2:30 p.m. EDT at the UT Visitor Center, 2712 Neyland Dr.
The committee will review the university’s efforts to create an institutional compliance program that insures that the university is following all applicable state and federal regulations.
Other agenda items include:
-Update of the committee’s recommendation to hire a consultant to review the University of Tennessee Medical Group;
-Review of system-wide project cost process;
-Review of the university’s financial risk assessment;
-Review of the committee’s internal audit staffing survey;
-Update on the status of the State Audit Division’s external financial statement audit.
