Linda HendricksScheduled university closings for 2009 have been determined and are being shared with all employees, to give everyone a chance to plan their vacations next year, says Linda Hendricks, UT vice president and chief human relations officer.

In response to employee requests to observe the winter break on consecutive days, Hendricks says, please note that December holiday dates differ from those in years past.

 

  • Thursday, January 1 – New Year’s Day

  • Monday, January 19 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

  • Friday, April 10 – Spring Break/Good Friday

  • Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day

  • Friday, July 3 – Independence Day

  • Monday, September 7 – Labor Day

  • Thursday, November 26 – Friday, November 27 – Fall Break/Thanksgiving

  • Friday, December 25 – Thursday, December 31 – Winter Break/Holiday
