The National Science Foundation has announced new research areas in biosensing and bioactivation and hydrocarbons from biomass as part of its 2009 Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation program.
The NSF will use a webcast at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, to explain the two new initiatives.
