WUTK 90.3 FM The Rock, the University of Tennessee’s student radio station, has released a compilation compact disc to raise money for the station and to celebrate their 25th anniversary of being on the air.
"ReDistilled — 25 Years of Knoxville Rock" includes seventeen Knoxville bands and musicians performing songs originally recorded by other Knoxville bands and musicians over the past quarter century.
The compact disc is available at area retail outlets (Disc Exchange, Pluto Sports, Lost & Found Records, Cat’s, McKay’s, Rik’s Music and Sound) and at the WUTK Sundown In the City tent. The disc will soon be available on line at www.wutkradio.com.
