Employee Relations is now accepting applications for enrollment to the Sick Leave Bank (SLB). The SLB provides members who are experiencing serious illness the opportunity to request additional paid leave from the bank after exhausting all of their own accrued sick leave and vacation leave. 

This annual enrollment period ends June 30. Employees joining the SLB must have a minimum balance of 48 hours of sick leave before donating 24 of those hours to the bank.

Sick Leave Transfer allows university employees to voluntarily donate their unused sick leave to other employees who have exhausted all of their own accrued sick leave as well as their allotment from the bank.
