Scholar to Discuss Use of Crab Shells in Treating Contaminated Streams
Rachel Brennan, an assistant professor at Penn State University, will discuss the use of chitin, a material derived from crab shells, to remediate streams contaminated by acid mine drainage, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, April 4, in 300 Buehler Hall.
