The Rocky Top Cafe opens today after weeks of renovations. Several new eateries have been added including Sbarro, Jump Asian Express and Mayfield Creamier ice cream parlor. Other upgrades were made to speed service and improve convenience.

UT President John Petersen last week announced the promotion of Mary Jinks to vice president of public service for the University of Tennessee. Jinks has served as associate vice president of the UT Institute for Public Service for the past year, and in her new role she will continue to lead and manage the institute.
