Ready for a boost to your career? Attend the Professional MBA program information session, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, in Stokely Management Center. The program is designed for individuals with several years of full-time professional work experience who are looking for career advancement within their organization. The degree can be earned in a compact time frame and allows students to maintain full-time employment.
While the typical MBA program presents individual courses such as accounting, economics, finance, marketing, and management, the Professional MBA presents an integrated, 16-month program of study. The knowledge is delivered when it is needed, in a real-world context, and in a format that applies knowledge as it is learned.
This curriculum is designed around the way businesses, organizations, and people really work. Each class delivers management tools that can be applied immediately at each student’s place of work. Classes are held primarily on Saturdays on the Knoxville campus and Tuesday nights online.
The information session is for students interested in starting classes in August 2008. The priority deadline for applications is April 10. For more information, see http://promba.utk.edu/ or contact Ruth Topley at 865-974-1660 or rtopley@utk.edu.
