UT and ORNL Biofuels Researchers to Speak in Washington, D.C.

Based on their work in the UT Biofuels Initiative, Drs. Tim Rials and Kelly Tiller from the University of Tennessee and Martin Keller from Oak Ridge National Laboratory have been invited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to be the next speakers in USDA Under Secretary Gale A. Buchanan’s Agriculture and Energy Seminar Series. The presentation will take place Thursday Feb. 14, at the USDA Whitten Building in Washington, D.C.

The Biofuels Initiative continues to be at the cutting edge of research and technology. This unique effort includes farmer involvement, technology partnerships, and political leadership resulting in an integrated systems approach for a sustainable, large scale cellulosic biofuels industry.
