Donate"Our thoughts are with the victims of the devastating tornados in Middle Tennessee," said Interim Chancellor Jan Simek. "Our office has had many inquiries from faculty, staff and students about how to help. The greatest need at this point is for financial donations. I encourage you to contact two local organizations listed below and donate online or send checks by mail."

Knoxville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. In the "How You Can Help" box, go to Donate Online. In the box marked "To Be Used," click National Disaster Relief Fund. The funds will go to tornado relief, which is currently the most pressing disaster in the nation. The 24-hour help line is (865) 584-2999. Checks can be mailed to the American Red Cross, 6921 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37909. Please indicate the donation is for tornado relief.
