UT accounting professor Dan Murphy has received the 2008 Distinguished Achievement in Accounting Education Award from the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Murphy is Deloitte & Touche Accounting Professor in the College of Business Administration and head of the college’s Department of Accounting and Information Management.
