UT Knoxville nursing students and faculty, along with Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) cadets, are collecting hospital gowns, slippers, boxers, clothing and shoes for injured civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Drop-off points are the Stokely Athletic Center, the College of Nursing, the University Center, TRECS, on-campus residence halls and local hospitals.
Check and money donations also are being accepted. Checks should be made out to "UT College of Nursing-SNA," and "Operation Healing Hearts" should be written in the memo line. Mail donations to the College of Nursing, Attn: Susan Crawford, 1200 Volunteer Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37996.
