The McClung Museum exhibit "Sacred Beauty: A Millenium of Religious Art, 600-1600" is part of the Medieval and Renaissance Semester and runs until Jan. 6, 2008.
The exhibit includes objects of art from five major world religions – Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism – to show how artists of varying beliefs and cultural traditions envisioned and experienced the sacred from the historical period spanning the Middle Ages to the European Renaissance.
