University of Tennessee food microbiologist F. Ann Draughon received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring during a ceremony at the White House Nov. 16.
In an effort to remind students and others of basic safety practices, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is hosting “Safety Days” in the Fort Sanders neighborhood and at Sutherland Village Apartments.
Rita Sanders Geier, associate to Chancellor Crabtree and Senior Fellow at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, has been named a 2007 Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
