Parties, parades and plenty of fun: it’s Homecoming time in Tennessee!
Smokey’s Bayou Bash festivities begin at 4 p.m. Friday with the Homecoming parade. The centerpiece event, "Celebrating Our Heroes: Past and Present," follows the parade. This reception, honoring all UT alumni who served in the military, begins at 6:30 p.m. at Calhoun’s on the River.
Party in the Park, the largest tailgating party on campus, begins at noon Saturday in Circle Park. It will be four hours of family-oriented fun with live entertainment, door prizes, face painting, exhibits and more.
The party ends at kick-off as the Tennessee Volunteers take on Louisiana Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns at 4 p.m. in Neyland Stadium.
