KNOXVILLE –- A University of Tennessee consultant has been selected to help judge the Manufacturer LIVE Awards 2006.
Bill Stetar Bill Stetar, of UT’s Center for Industrial Services, an agency of UT’s Institute for Public Service, will be one of five judges for the competition sponsored by Conquest Business Media (CBM), publishers of The Manufacturer and Energy Business. The awards are part of a two-day symposium called Manufacturer LIVE 2006 to be held in Chicago in October.
Besides Stetar, other judges are Jim Kirk, business editor of the Chicago Tribune; Dr. Yossi Sheffi, of the Center for Transportation & Logistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); Nigel Holloway, director of executive services with The Economist Intelligence Unit; and Ken Hurst, publisher of The Manufacturer.
The Manufacturer LIVE Awards 2006 are designed to recognize the world-class manufacturing excellence in the U.S. and to promote best practices in manufacturing.
