KNOXVILLE –- The University of Tennessee National Alumni Association will welcome alumni and friends back to campus this July 12-16 for its annual Alumni Summer College.

Alumni Summer College provides alumni and community members an opportunity to attend lectures and special functions on campus for a week. Faculty, staff and other experts will speak on topics related to this year’s “Frontiers” theme.

Attendees will hear presentations on topics ranging from cutting edge trends in bio-terrorism and medical ethics to cyber-advances and progressive law enforcement training.

Participants also will visit and ride the Big South Fork Scenic Railway through Stearns, Ky. on Saturday, July 16.

Anyone interested may participate in the Summer College — it is not necessary to be a UT alumnus. Tuition for five days is $295, which includes the Saturday trip and selected meals. Deadline to register is July 3.
