KNOXVILLE — University of Tennessee alumni and friends are invited to hear Pat Summitt, UT women’s head basketball coach, and Joan Cronan, UT women’s athletics director, speak at a reception in Little Rock as part of the Lady Vols edition of the Big Orange Tailgate Tour.
The UT National Alumni Association and the UT Women’s Athletics Department are sponsoring the reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Little Rock, Ark., where the Lady Vols will be playing in the SEC tournament starting Friday.
There will be a dinner buffet, door prizes and a cash bar at the reception. Tickets are $24 at the door with limited availability, and children under 12 years old are $12.
Pre-game parties will be held before each game, beginning Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock. Parties on Saturday and Sunday will depend on the Lady Vols advancement in the tournament.
