KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee Outdoor Program will host its third annual “UT Outdoor Festival” Feb. 24-26 on the UT campus.

The festival will begin at 7 p.m. Friday with the Telluride Mountain Film Presentation held in the Cox Auditorium at the Alumni Memorial Building. The film presentation features America’s premier festival of mountain, adventure, environmental and cultural films. Tickets to the Telluride Mountain Film Presentation are free to UT students, faculty and staff. Tickets for the general public can be purchased through UTOP and are $5 for children and $8 for adults.

On Saturday, the “Vol Wall Crankin’ for Access” climbing competition will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building (HPER) climbing wall. A $10 donation is requested to participate in this charity event for the Access Fund, used to protect the nation-s natural climbing areas. Climbers of all levels and abilities are welcome to participate.

Team Dagger paddler and star of “Girls At Play”, Anna Levesque, will hold two whitewater kayaking clinics at the Student Aquatic Center on Sunday. A women’s clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and a playboating skills clinic will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This event is free to all UT students, faculty and staff.
