SUBJECT: Street Closings During Glocker Renovation

As you know, Glocker Business Administration Building is in the process of renovation. The second phase of construction begins immediately. Several streets and traffic patterns around the construction site will be affected.

— On Monday, December 19, construction begins at the intersection of Andy Holt Avenue and Phillip Fulmer Way. Two-way traffic will remain on Phillip Fulmer Way. However, Andy Holt Avenue will be closed between Phillip Fulmer Way and East Volunteer Boulevard and will remain closed until at least January 3. The plan is to reopen the street prior to the start of spring semester classes.

— Peyton Manning Pass will provide two-way access during the time Andy Holt Avenue is closed. To accommodate the heavier traffic flow on Peyton Manning, curbside parking will be prohibited. The City of Knoxville will post signs to that effect.

— Once Andy Holt Avenue reopens, two lanes of traffic will flow one-way westbound. Peyton Manning Pass will become one-way eastbound. The Phillip Fulmer Way intersection with Peyton Manning Pass will be a three-way stop.

Please use extreme caution when traveling around the construction area and wherever traffic flow is adjusted on campus.

The UT Police Department will be on site to assist you during this transitional time.
