“I am gratified by the number of people who have called and expressed their support since my automobile accident Thursday night. I’m feeling fine, have no serious injuries, and plan to resume my normal schedule next week.
“I am diabetic, and low blood sugar was the cause of my accident. We are so fortunate that no one was injured. I also am grateful to the folks at the Knoxville Police Department, Knoxville Fire Department, Rural/Metro and the emergency room personnel at UT Medical Center who took such good care of me.”
