Vol football fans and friends and alumni of the University of Tennessee are invited to join the Tennessee National Alumni Association at each away football game for the second season of the Big Orange Tailgate Tour.
The tour stops include two in Florida (Sept. 20 vs. Florida, Nov. 8 vs. Miami), two in Alabama (Oct. 4 vs. Auburn, Oct. 25 vs. Alabama) and one stop in Kentucky (Nov. 29 vs. Kentucky). Future stops will be added for post-season games.
The Tennessee Alumni Association-s Big Orange Tailgate Tour is made possible by the generous support of major event sponsors, HoundDogs, Bank One, and Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS).
Each pre-game event begins three and one-half hours before kickoff, and is conveniently located to the stadiums at each away game.
Activities include tailgate-style food and a second season of the Rocky Top Sing-Off, with prizes given to the best rendition at each tour stop. A grand prize will be awarded at season-s end.
In addition to food, fun and song, the tailgate tours include a variety of games and entertainment, performance by the UT Pride of the Southland Band and cheerleaders, and appearances by Vol mascot Smokey.
UT merchandise and spirit buttons will be available, and door prize drawings will be held throughout the event.
All participants who pre-register for a tailgate tour stop will be automatically entered into a drawing at the end of the season for two post-season bowl tickets.
