KNOXVILLE — UT President Dr. John Shumaker and Vice President for Agriculture Dr. Jack Britt formally dedicated UT’s new Tennessee Forest Products Center building August 6.
The new state-of-the-art facility helps further the TFPC’s mission to ensure the continued competitiveness and sustainability of Tennessee’s forest products industry by providing research and educational support and by partnering with state forest products producers and government forestry agencies. It is the only full-time facility of its kind among other U.S. university programs.
