KNOXVILLE – The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees and two of its committees are scheduled to meet April 4 in Chattanooga.

The full board meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. ET in the Chattanooga Room of the University Center on the UT-Chattanooga campus.

The board’s Finance and Administration Committee is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. in the ballroom of the Chattanoogan hotel, and the Academic Programs and Planning Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Racoon Mountain Room in the University Center.

Items to be considered include a resolution to accept the transfer of Engel Stadium to UTC. The board also will consider a resolution that endorses creation of the Howard H. Baker Center for Public Policy. The center is named for the U.S. Senate majority leader from Tennessee who is now serving as ambassador to Japan.
