KNOXVILLE — A researcher who specializes in medical history will lecture on quackery at the University of Tennessee Sept. 24.

Dr. J. Harvey Young, professor emeritus at Emory University, will deliver the Charles O. Jackson Memorial Lecture at 4 p.m. in the Shiloh Room of the University Center.

The title of Young’s talk is “Health Quackery: A Hardy Perennial.” A reception for him will follow the lecture.
