“Yesterday, June 20, the board of directors of the Center for Law, Medicine and Technology met to consider the future of the center.
“This morning the board submitted a unanimously approved recommendation to dissolve the center. I concur with that recommendation, and I have directed the board to minimize all costs associated with the dissolution.
“Although the idea for the center was sound, the board and I do not believe the current environment would permit it to be successful.”
