Press Winners Named
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A new award for overall quality was presented to four Tennessee newspapers at the state press association meeting here Saturday. Chester County Independent in Henderson, The Review Appeal, Franklin, The Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro, and Nashville’s daily paper, The Tennessean, received Sweepstakes Awards at the Tennessee Press Association meeting.
