KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Lori Anne Fox, daughter of Donald and Geraldine Fox, Kodak, Tenn., earned top graduate honors in summer commencement exercises Friday at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Fox, a psychology major with a minor in elementary education, was a top graduate in the College of Arts and Sciences. Her other honors at UT include the Philander P. Claxton Medal and the Tennessee Teachers Scholarship.

Top graduates at UT-Knoxville have the highest grade point averages (GPA) in their colleges. The minimum GPA to be a top grade is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Fox plans to begin work toward a master’s degree in elementary education starting this fall with an internship at Alcoa Elementary School.
