KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — “Producing ‘The Seagull’: Excerpts from the Director’s Notebook” will be the subject of the April 14 Tuesday Topics free lecture at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Ms. Elizabeth Craven, associate professor in the UT-Knoxville department of theatre, will present the lecture, including demonstrations by actors, at 7:30 p.m., 235 University Center.

“The Seagull”, a play by Anton Chekhov, is the premiere performance of the International Actor Training Academy class of 2000.

A reception for Craven, hosted by Dr. Lorayne Lester, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will follow the lecture. Parking adjacent to the center, in the parking garage on Stadium Drive, is free with a stamped voucher. No reservations are required.
