MARTIN, Tenn. — A recommendation from University of Tennessee President Joe Johnson for a new chancellor at UT-Martin will be considered here April 2 by the UT Board of Trustees.
Beauchamp Brogan, UT general counsel and secretary to the board of trustees, said the meeting will be held by telephone conference call originating here at 4:30 p.m.
The meeting will be in the Fulton Theatre of the Fine and Performing Arts Center at UT-Martin.
Dr. Nick Dunagan has been acting chancellor at UT Martin since the retirement in January of Dr. Margaret Perry.
Other items on the agenda include appointment of a trustee to the UT Athletics Board and a resolution honoring the late Tom Elam, Union City attorney and long-time member of the UT board.
