KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Ronald Bruce Hamilton, formerly of Lenoir City, is among the top graduates scheduled to participate in commencement exercises Dec. 20 at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

 Hamilton, the son of T.W. and Louise Hamilton, Lenoir City, is top graduate in the College of Education.

 Top graduate honors go to the students with the highest grade point averages in their respective colleges. A minimum grade point of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale is required.

A program administrator at the Tennessee Valley Authority, Hamilton returned to school after a 25-year absence.

 His other UT-Knoxville honors and activities included the Golden Key Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi.
