KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Mandy Lynn Gall of Old Hickory has earned top graduate honors among students scheduled to participate Dec. 20 in commencement exercises at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Gall, the daughter of Ron and Phyllis Gall, Old Hickory, is the top humanities graduate in the College of Arts and Sciences.

 Top graduates have the highest grade point averages (GPA) in their respective colleges. The minimum GPA to be a top grad is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

 Following graduation Gall plans to enroll at David Lipscomb University in Nashville where she wants to earn certification to teach high school Spanish.

Gall’s other honors and activities at UT-Knoxville include Sigma Delta Pi Spanish honor society, and Golden Key National Honor Society.
