KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Lori Rebecca Bolt and Patricia J. Cable, both of Maryville, have earned top graduate honors among students scheduled to participate in commencement exercises Dec. 20 at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

 Bolt, the daughter of Larry and Frankie Bolt, Maryville, is top graduate in the College of Education; and Cable, daughter of Ruth and the late Richard Caldwell, Alcoa, is top grad in the College of Business.

 Top graduates have the highest grade point averages (GPA) in their respective colleges. The minimum GPA to be a top grad is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

 Bolt majored in exercise science and Cable in logistics and transportation.

Bolt’s other honors and activities include a Chancellor’s Citation, Golden Key Honor Society, and an outstanding achievement certificate from the College of Education. She plans to continue her education in graduate school.

 Cable’s other honors and activities include Golden Key Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Outstanding Student Award of the College of Business Administration.
