KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dr. Bill Snyder, chancellor of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, will speak at the Nov. 17 meeting of the Anderson County chapter of the UT National Alumni Association.

 A 6 p.m. reception will be followed by dinner at 7 p.m. at the Garden Plaza Hotel, Oak Ridge.

 Snyder has been chancellor at UT-Knoxville since July 1992. Prior to the appointment, he was dean of the UT-Knoxville College of Engineering. He also has served on the engineering faculties of the UT Space Institute, State University of New York at Stoney Brook and North Carolina State University.

 All friends and alumni of the University of Tennessee are invited to attend the meeting. The UT National Alumni Association has more than 110 chapters and 225,000 members worldwide.
