KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Six Williamson County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Michael G. Danekas, 1203 Ridgeway Drive, Franklin, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Gene and Phyllis Danekas.
— William T. Evans, 614 Meadowgreen Drive, Franklin, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Les and Sherrie Evans.
— Elinor P. Harris, 405 Chesterfield Place, Franklin, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment at Franklin High School. She is the daughter of Jennie and Don Harris.
— Phillip S. Hutcheson, 4115 Clovercroft Road, Franklin, earned a four-year $6,400 National Merit scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Phil Hutcheson.
— Matthew Richey, 602 Foxborough Square N., Brentwood, earned a $1,500 upperclass scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Jan and Becca Richey.
