KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Five University of Tennessee-Knoxville students have been awarded First Tennessee Bank Scholarships for the 1997-98 academic year. They are Kelly Ervin, Link A. Gibbons, Brad R. Lefler, Brian Moody and James Willson Taylor II.
Ervin, daughter of Dan and Jo Ervin, Morristown, is a graduate of Morristown West High and is majoring in public relations.
Gibbons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Farvin Gibbons, Talbott, is a graduate of Morristown East High School and is studying business.
Lefler, son of George and Nancy Lefler, Knoxville, is a graduate of Farragut High School and is studying psychology.
Moody, son of Lee and Rosemary Moody, Knoxville, and a graduate of Bearden High School, is studying forestry.
Taylor, son of Terry and Teresa Taylor, Louisville, Tenn., is a graduate of Maryville High School and is a music education major.
The First Tennessee Scholarship was established through a donation to the University of Tennessee in celebration of the bicentennial of the State of Tennessee.
