KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– The public is invited to hear architect Terry Steelman of Philadelphia, Pa., deliver a guest lecture at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 27, in room 109 of the Architecture Building on the University of Tennessee-Knoxville campus.

 “Voices” is the title of Steelman’s presentation, part of the College of Architecture’s Robert B. Church III Memorial Lecture Series. Other speakers in the series include:

 — Liviu Dimitriu, architect, New York City, “A Trilogy on Scarpa: The Vernacular As Avant-Garde,” on Nov. 3.

 — Peter Lizon, UT-Knoxville professor, “The Villa Tugendhat: An International Landmark of Modernism,” on Nov. 17.

 — Kem Hinton, architect, Nashville, “Along Path: The Search for a Tennessee Bicentennial Landmark,” on Nov. 21.

 — J. William Rudd, UT-Knoxville professor, “The Tower: Faith, Nature, Culture, Commerce,” on Nov. 24.

 All lectures begin at 5:30 p.m. in room 109 of the Architecture Building.
