KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Visitors to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville’s academic open house Oct. 10-11 can take a tour of Mars and the universe, pick up parenting tips, and enjoy a performance by the UT Brass Ensemble.  The open house, in UT-Knoxville’s new College of Law Building, will feature displays and demonstrations by approximately 20 academic departments.

The Macon County chapter of the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association will host a barbecue dinner Oct. 9 at the Macon County Fairgrounds.  UT alumni and friends are invited to attend the 6:00 p.m. reception followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the Sally Wells Building. The cost is $5 per person.  More information
