KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– A Middle Tennessee business and industry forum is scheduled Oct. 29 to help area executives learn more about resources available to them through the University of Tennessee.

Mike Curry, assistant vice president for corporate relations at UT, said the forum will provide action-oriented information for business and industry leaders.

“The forum, the first in a planned series, will be held in Brentwood in recognition of the tremendous growth of the southern suburbs of Davidson and Williamson counties,” Curry said.

Speakers will include Dr. Warren Neel, dean of business at UT-Knoxville; and Dr. Bill Fox, a UT-Knoxville economist and former director of the UT Center for Business and Economic Research.

“Dean Neel will review some of the UT programs designed to help business decision-making and Dr. Fox will talk about economic growth and its implications for Middle Tennessee,” Curry said.

Registration is $15 per person or $150 per 10-person table. The forum will be 7:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Athletics Club Maryland Farms, 5101 Maryland Way, Brentwood, Tenn.
