Alumni and friends of the University of Tennessee will gather Aug. 24 for a football season kickoff barbeque.
Bruce Stillwagon of the Upstate South Carolina UT Alumni Chapter said the event will begin at 4 p.m. at Hejaz Shrine Temple Picnic Shelter in Mauldin.
Dinner, which is $8 for adults and $3.75 for children under 10, will be served at 5 p.m. Reservations can be made until Aug. 17 by call Stillwagon at 864-675-9550.
UT’s first game is Aug. 31 in Knoxville against Texas Tech University.
