Alumni of that other UT – The University of Tennessee – will gather Aug. 23 in Austin for a family picnic.
The picnic for Tennessee alumni and friends is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. at Emma Long Metropolitan Park, picnic areas A and B.
Dinner, which is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12, will be served at 5:30 p.m.

The picnic is sponsored by the Austin Area UT Alumni Chapter. The University of Tennessee has more than 200,000 alumni worldwide.
