KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– The University of Tennessee publishes one of the top law reviews in the nation, a recent national survey shows.

The quarterly publication of the College of Law at UT-Knoxville was 41st among the 161 journals studied by Nova Southeastern University law professors Robert Jarvis and Phyllis Coleman. Findings are in the spring issue of the Arizona Law Review.

Rankings were based on the prominence of the author of the lead article in the publication. Columbia University Law Review topped the list and Harvard was second.

The Tennessee Law Review includes articles by professors and students as well as practitioners, UT Law Dean Rchard Wirtz said.
