KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Dr. Linda Maxson, UT-Knoxville associate vice chancellor for academic affairs, has been chosen for “Who’s Who of American Women.”
Maxson, who is also dean for undergraduate affairs, joins 28,000 women in the guide, published by Marquis Who’s Who.
To be included, candidates must have attained significant achievement in their field, said Paul Canning, editorial director of Marquis Who’s Who.
Maxson joined the UT staff and faculty in January 1995. She previously was a professor and head of biology at Penn State University.
