KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Successful aging will be the topic at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work’s continuing education program for professionals in Memphis.
Dr. Hubert Shore, president of Shore and Associates, Geriatric and Elderly Services, will look at the mushrooming of the older population and the lengthening of life expectancy in our society.
The Sept. 11 program is set for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Longinotti auditorium at St. Francis Hospital, 5959 Park Ave.
Fees range from $35-45 and include breakfast and parking. The program is co-sponsored with Senior Services, Memphis.
