KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee board of trustees will meet Thursday and Friday, Feb. 22-23, in Memphis, board secretary Beauchamp Brogan announced Wednesday.
Committee meetings will be held Thursday; the full board will convene Friday at 9 a.m. in 305 Student Alumni Center on the UT-Memphis campus.
The committee schedule is:
* Health affairs, noon, 305 Student Alumni Center.
* Academic and student affairs committees, 1:30 p.m., 206 Student Alumni Center.
* Finance committee, 3 p.m., 305 Student Alumni Center.
Agenda items include a discussion of 1996-97 state appropriations and capital outlay recommendations, a proposal to establish a joint UT-Memphis and University of Memphis program for master’s and doctoral degrees in biomedical engineering, and a proposed master’s degree in environmental science at UT-Chattanooga.
